The Cup second round saw both Diss U15 sides paired together.
Premiership Hawks were on top right from the start, but a combination of good goalkeeping, brave defending, poor finishing and sometimes choosing the wrong option with the final pass saw a goalless first half.
The second half was a carbon copy of the first, only this time Hawks did take some of their chances.
The three goals came in a 15 minute spell, the first when Ben Clements clipped a cross into the penalty box for Terry Payne to head home.
Payne also scored the second when he fired home after a Tommy Seymour corner.
It was 3-0 on 65 minutes when Josh Aldridge floated a ball into the area which found Ben Clements who scored comfortably.
That was the end of the scoring, so Hawks are through to the third round, whilst Tigers drop down to the Trophy.
A game which was played out almost entirely in the Tigers half, saw the Division Two side put on a dogged display to thwart Hawks for long periods, however the constant pressure from Hawks told in the end.
Next week, Hawks back to league action, 10-30 at home to Norwich United.
