Kappa Cup Quarter Final day and the first game for 5 weeks.
Hawks started the brighter of the two sides, without taking any of their chances created.
The home sides first attempt went in, a snap shot from just inside the penalty area.
The hard, bumpy pitch was making stringing together decent forward moves difficult, the final ball was lacking too many times from Diss.
The equaliser eventually came just before the half time break, a good Josh Aldridge ball finding Jack Glen in the penalty area who fired home into the corner of the net.
Half time 1-1.
The second half was one way traffic, with Hawks finally getting to grips with the game, Harry Pullen stabbing the ball home right at the start of the half for their first lead.
Further goals followed from Joe Hilton, Kieran Gallen and two more for Jack Glen to complete his hat-trick.
Full time 1-6, and in the end a very comfortable passage into the semi finals, due to the much improved second half showing.
Next week, semi final at home to Norwich Utd tbc.
