Diss started very well against Horsford with a pinpoint corner from Harley Tricker and Alfie Tubby managed to hit the back of the net with his head. Diss doubled their lead soon after with a delightful shot by Charlie Watts. Riley Mills and Jack Trudgill were kept busy in defence as Horsford tried to pull a goal back. Keeper Tobiasz Wojcik had to come off his line a few times and made some spectacular saves to keep Diss 2-0 to the good. Just before half-time Horsford pulled a goal back to make the half time score 2-1 to Diss.
Second half started and Horsford started the better of the two teams and it wasn’t long before Horsford had levelled it 2-2. Olly Bower and Jack Wenn worked hard in midfield.
Jack Keeley as ever was making teasing runs down the left side.
Horsford managed to squeeze the ball in from the corner 2-3 Horsford. That seemed to wake Diss up and Sophie Turrell ran down the left and was able to lob the keeper to make it all square at 3-3. Game on. Aedan Lambert was making some fine tackles in midfield. Harley Tricker ran a good 20 yards with the ball to thump it in the back of the net 4-3 Diss.
Horsford were trying to get an equaliser and Diss broke and went up the other end and Josh Pacheco was able to tap the ball home.
With only a few minutes remaining Diss were able to hold on to a well-deserved win and 3 points on the table.
