Diss kicked off and were soon on the attack with Jack Trudgill and Sophie Turrell linking up well down the left. Mundford were equally trying to get through Diss’ defensive trio of Riley Knights, Sam Burrows and captain, Alfie Tubby, which Mundford found difficult as well as Tobiasz Wojcik making some spectacular saves throughout the duration of the game.
Jack Keeley came on mid-way through the first half and came very close to breaking the stalemate.

Mundford kicked off and Diss’ patience paid off with a beautiful, floated cross by Harley Tricker for Olly Booty to head the ball home to break the dead lock. This goal made Diss press to double their lead with a good shot from Matthew Cosburn just outside the box, only for Mundford’s keeper to push the ball wide for a corner. Mundford kept pressing and they finally managed to slot the ball home 1-1.
Jack Wenn was strong in midfield keeping Mundford at bay as they were trying to get the winning goal. Mundford managed to squeeze the ball in the back of the net 2-1. With only minutes left, Diss kept pressing with Charlie Watts fighting hard up front to try equalise, but in was not to be.
